SDSN Northern Europe at world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative in Gothenburg May 8

Volvo Cars will be hosting the next meeting of the Nordic Network of the UN Global Compact in Volvohallen on 8-9 May. The UN Global Compact (UNGC) is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative with 1300 corporate participants in over 170 countries. The Compact’s main objective to support the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Nordic Network has over 200 members from leading companies across the region.
The meeting in May will focus on SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities) and SDGs 17 (Partnerships). The Swedish Trade Minister, Ann Linde, will be attending, along with the Mayor of Gothenburg, Anne-Sofie Hermansson and Henrik Madsen, a UNGC Board member. Eight CEOs will be participating, including Håkan Samuelsson.
SDSN Northern Europe will be showcasing the innovative work of the initiative Sustainability Atals. The Atlas is an interactive online solution to help you gain insights regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
