– The vision of SDSN Northern Europe is to go from knowledge to action for the sustainable development goals. Greta Thunberg is the best example we know of going from knowledge to action. She does it for the right reasons. People should feel threatened, should care and do something about it. Of course we shall support her and all the young people who go on strike for the climate today!

Since the beginning of industrialization, we have used about four-fifths of the amount of fossil carbon that may be incinerated for us to pass the Paris Agreement. We only have one fifth left and it is urgent to reduce emissions to a large extent. Greta Thunberg and the striking young people have understood this. That’s why we support their demands.
