SDSN Northern Europe arranges workshop at SDG Conference Bergen 2023
The team from the SDSN Northern Europe secretariat is arranging a workshop on the SDG Impact Assessment Tool at this year’s SDG conference arranged by the University of Bergen in Norway. Welcome to join and learn more about how this tool can help your organisation!
The SDG Conference Bergen 2023 is arranged for the 6th time on the topic of “A just transformation to a sustainable future“, focusing on a sustainable transformation of societies to become safe and just for all entails thinking about the grand challenges of our time. One of the program items for Day Zero of the conference is a workshop called “Trying the SDG Impact Assessment Tool“, arranged by Network Manager Martin Eriksson and his team at the SDSN Northern Europe secretariat.
The SDG Impact Assessment Tool is a free online platform for making self-assessments of how organizations, projects, or activities impact the SDGs, in terms of positive, negative, direct, and indirect impacts, or to identify knowledge gaps. The workshop is relevant for anybody who works with education for sustainable development, innovation and business development, research, as well as strategic planning and decision making, and wants to couple their work to the SDGs.
This is a practical workshop where the SDG Impact Assessment Tool is presented and demonstrated, and you will have the opportunity to test the tool in smaller groups. We will explain and exemplify the use of the tool, as well as guide you on how to navigate through the website and how to do SDG impact assessments.
Date: 8 February 2023 (Day Zero of the conference)
Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm CET
Where: Online via Zoom
This workshop is arranged by the Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development and the SDSN Northern Europe.
