Launch of the Nordic Sustainable Development Report 2025
Launch of the Nordic Sustainable Development Report 2025
Agenda 2030
Join us for the launch of the Nordic Sustainable Development Report 2025, the first assessment dedicated specifically to how Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden perform on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Nordic countries continue to lead in Europe on the SDGs but the report shows a stagnating progress on several environmental goals. It also highlights the significant global impacts driven by Nordic consumption patterns. Together, these trends signal that the region’s sustainability trajectory is at risk.
During the event, we will present the key findings from the report, including:
The latest SDG Index results for the five Nordic countries
Evidence of stalled or declining progress on climate, ecosystems, and sustainable consumption
New data on international spillovers linked to Nordic consumption and production
Insights from the Leave-No-One-Behind-Index
How the SDG Index compares to the reporting on the Nordic Council of Ministers' Vision 2030
You will also hear reflections from the report’s authors and SDSN leadership on what the results mean for policymakers, researchers, and organisations working to advance sustainable development.
